I placed my hand in his and he put his arm around my waist. We swayed gently from side to side. He pulled me in closer, his warmth filling me up. His lips were inches from mine… I gently pressed my lips against his… He softly parted my lips and I could feel his smooth tongue trace my upper lip. I tugged at his curls at the back of his neck. My heart was racing. I bit his lip tenderly."
At the tender age of sixteen, Mackenzie is given the chance of a lifetime when her best friend drags her off to London after winning a competition to see the X-Factor live semi-finale. The experience turns out to be more than what Mackenzie had bargained for when two of the contestants, from the rising boy band, take a keen interest in her; both boys seeing more than what Mackenzie will ever see in herself. Torn between right and wrong, Mackenzie seems to finally make a choice between the two. Happiness is always short-lived with tragedy peeping from around the corner. When her life is shattered and her previous choices become blurred, Mackenzie struggles to come to terms with life, love and friendship.

I began to breath faster because I've never been a big fan of the dark. I hated it. I didn't like what I couldn't see. I jumped as I felt a hand on my waist and my breath caught as I felt a surge of electricity run through me. I felt him pull me closer to him until my back was against his chest. His lips rubbed against my ear and he slowly whispered out "You can't leave, Harry. You're never gonna get away. I'm not gonna let you."Complete
