Not all the people in the hood are killer machine men or thotty. It's not a given that living in the hood makes you a horrible person or a drug dealer. You have to understand that for some of these people you live each day as though it were your last because that's how things actually work out for you. Living in a conflict zone means you never know when someone will pass away. It seems a bit like you're in a safari, waiting for a lion or hyena to selectively pounce on their prey. People in this neighborhood are fighting to leave the hood and/or to survive; the government despises us and will not assist us; they require instability in order to stay relevant. This is our story of living in the hood.
