"It was pouring in Manhattan. Rain streamed down the windows and splashed onto the ground. The windscreen wipers on the front of the car where trying in vain to rid the glass of the fat raindrops that obstructed the cab drivers view. The wheels on the yellow cab splashed up water every time we went through a puddle, and I was bored out of my mind. My name is Annabeth chase and currently I was sitting in a cab that was supposed to be taking me to my apartment which I would be staying in while I attended goode high school."
