Over five billion years ago, in the vast expanse of the cosmos, a fleet of vessels embarked on a monumental mission-to sow the seeds of life across selected galaxies. Each spacecraft carried two artificial entities known as The Keepers, intricately designed to manipulate planetary physics and nurture the growth of diverse life forms. After more than 500 million years traversing space, one vessel breached the surface of a lifeless celestial body now known as Earth. The Keepers, along with their advanced technology, embarked on a journey to catalyze the evolution of life.
Across epochs, The Keepers periodically awake, meticulously crafting Earth's tapestry of organic and biological life. Their pinnacle achievement was a superior intellectual life form, the climax of their intricate design. After a two-million-year slumber, The Keepers reawaken to find their vessel damaged and buried beneath Earth's crust. Undeterred, they persist in their mission, inspecting their biological crop-two-legged beings falling short of the envisioned model. A dilemma arises: their experiment hasn't yielded the intended superior life form.
Facing setbacks, The Keepers, despite a damaged ship and imperfect creations, decide to halt time and history for the experiment. A new mandate challenges their initial mission, and Earth's fate hangs in the balance. The Keepers grapple with consequences and unexpected twists in their cosmic experiment set in motion billions of years ago.
Anomaly delves into creation, evolution, and life's unpredictability. As The Keepers confront design limitations, they must decide whether to reshape their experiment or witness an uncontrollable destiny. The story unfolds against a damaged vessel buried within Earth, where ancient architects of life reckon with unintended cosmic consequences, playing the role of unwitting cosmic gods.

It carries with them the burden of The Final Judgement. Meanwhile, in another dimension, they are faced with the Chaos in The Realm of No Light. In order to find peace among its brethren, they must live among the darkness and embrace the chaos through pain. The One Between makes a Pact with its brother The Lord of No Light, to learn secrets unspoken and find answers to questions unanswered for eons. Is there a God among all this chaos? During this painful journey, the Knowledge The One Between seeks may be the answer but, how much Knowledge can be gained without destroying one's mind? Will the chaos from The Realm of No Light and their brother, destroy their Light and evolve them into a monster they fear-a Being of Chaos? The One Between is willing to sacrifice everything, even its identity, to find what it's looking for and a solution to end the wars. Can humanity evolve from its own destruction? The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Trepidation: Act 1
10,000 years in the future, humanity has long since inhabited a region of space simply known as the "Habitable Zone of the Milky Way," or simply the "Habitable Zone." Many advancements have been made, though many are irrelevant to the billions - or perhaps more - of souls scattered across space. Everything operates under the silent, vague, but present scrutiny of the gods, with thaumaturgic talents dominating many human cultures in some capacity. Churches reign over the post-Altarum territories a century after the Silence. The World, at least as far as many within the Habitable Zone are concerned, is a cold, thoughtless plane of existence. It is within a single vessel, known as the CSS Groundskeeper, do things begin to influence the "Things To Be," as labeled by followers of the pantheon. Within this ship, two individuals will face the beginning of what is to be unimaginable horrors within an unforgiving universe, both with the same goal: do not succumb to the darkness.
