Gwyneth and Mark have been best friends since first grade. No two souls could have been as close as them. They literally knew each other, from hobbies to favorite food and to each other's families.
Then during eighth grade, Gwyneth began distancing herself. Stopped hanging out with him. Even persuaded her parents to let her transfer to another school.
But why exactly did she do these things?
