But everyone that had been lucky enough to have it, was brutally murdered by Salem. But his mother was not killed, His brother wasn't killed, and neither was his sister. After mostly everyone else was murdered, his mother became very distant towards (Y/N). He wanted to get revenge on Salem for what she did..
