The only reason Mia always tells her best friend no is the Mage Curse, set into stone by her own ancestors. She would rather be Human than suffer the Mage Curse that turns any creature, including Supernaturals, into Familiars against one's will. The cause of the Great Mage War.
But Mia was in for the surprise of her life, as she was one year away from being labeled Human. When an imprisoned Dragon deep in a magical frozen cave is finally able to call out to her. The human that will change the world, but will it be for the better or the worse?
