Why Am I Elena Gilbert?
You know, the idea of ending up in a fictional world such as this was supposed to be funny especially as Elena Gilbert because it could be throughly entertaining and disastrous. The best part, you're either dreaming a really long funny-messed up dream or you died and at least (most likely - hopefully) if you die you may end up back in your own body or you'll end up somewhere else you can mess everything up. Me? I happened to randomly wake up as Elena and considering my personality is much different from hers (and I've come to find extremely serious situations my favorite moment to laugh and be sarcastic) so I'm gonna mess everything up as much as I can. Do I really mind if I die? No. Why? Because I'm hoping once I die I'll either get home or end up elsewhere... being Sakura from Naruto would be entertaining, deadly, but entertaining This will end up being a Kai x Kol x Klaus x Elena x Tyler x Damon. What can you say about a girl who was supposed to die tragically young? That her guardian angel got distracted while writing her life code and inadvertently sent her into an infinite loop, a quantum uncertainty of sorts, packed with bonus features. This sort of stuff can create minor issues for the rest of Creation, issues which, of course, need to be ironed out, but there is nothing that can't be fixed with good team spirit and a can do attitude, especially if you're not unreasonably inflexible about the laws of physics. Don't worry about breaking reality, you can always make yourself a new one, or several, and improve the energy efficiency of the electromagnetic spectrum in the process. Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out. As the story progresses, names are revealed to her and she takes on layers of self in those changing names in a way that pushes her through a painful yet captivating awakening that traces the pathways of a woman coming home to her ancient self. An awakening to the discovery of loving another spiritually, like a ghost, and an awakening that equips her with the resources to fight back and liberate herself from domestic violence. She's fallen in love with a spiritual entity and does not know who he or it is. For some time, she tries to conceptualize how this entity could be a stranger she has called in, like discovering and summoning a twin flame. As the reader comes to know who this stranger is through her storytelling, they witness her societal rejection and ostracism.
