The Final Rhyme
Poetry was our safe space, a way to say words we couldn't otherwise. A way to make friends and connections. Every word in a poem is important. Designed to mean something. Much in the same way every experience and mistake makes us who we are. ************** This was a beginning, a beginning to what, you may ask. Well a beginning to me, I didn't know myself, I wasn't even free; I couldn't be me. I didn't mind the move, eventually things you face you get over it, but still I was numb. I wanted to start new; just me and Clou against the world, nothing to stop us. I had a good feeling, this year would be a good year. With that thought, I allowed myself to be consumed by the deepness of sleep. Writing, for me, has always been a sanctuary-a place of refuge, a confidante, a diary where I pour out my heart's secrets. Some of these tales are pieces of my own heart, whispers of my own truths. There's a vulnerability in sharing them, but also a profound liberation. Dreamweaver (2017-2021)
"Dreamweaver: First Poetry Collection" (2017-2021): Book 1 among my poetry collections. If you read my poetry collections from oldest to newest, you'll get to see the evolution and changes my style undergoes over time. However, there is no required reading order. Poetry is meant to be enjoyed, read how and what you wish. 😌 Formerly titled "A Dreamweaver's Poetry", this is my first and oldest poetry collection. It contains almost all of the poems I wrote between the years of 2017 and 2021. There is no central theme, I simply wrote what would come up. Whether Haiku, rhyming, non-rhyming, about love, pain, or life, they're all here, and they're all raw. Any editing I have done of the actual poems has been minimal, mostly consisting of reformatting, fixing commas, periods, etc. None of the actual content. I wrote these poems when I was 14-19 years old, and like to keep them as untouched as possible. Enjoy!Complete

The Light in the Dark (Completed)
Cover made by the amazing @mikeyspizzadope (go check them out they're cool) It's 3 A.M., and you can't sleep. Your heart feels like it might burst out of your chest. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered.
