It is the year 2015. It was a fairly typical day; most people got up early to get ready for work or school, while others occasionally took the day off or stayed home to take care of kids. Halfway through the day, a loud alarm began to play through radios, televisions, and speakers, abruptly warning everyone to remain indoors and not leave where they were. Several police and firefighter sirens, as well as helicopters, could be heard from anywhere. Eventually, people got sick of waiting or worried about family members at home and ran. Outside were sick people who would attack others and act like wild animals; their eyes looked lifeless, and some of them would even have some kind of body part amputated. Needless to say, they weren't alive. Eventually, people would form groups and travel together as a way to stay safe or travel alone to avoid attracting a lot of attention. But with that also lures danger.
