The Artful Dodger

15 years ago, the talented thief Jack Dawkins was caught and arrested in London. Luckily Dawkins, better known amongst his fellow pickpockets as the Artful Dodger, was banished to Australia instead of the noose. He managed to escape upon arrival, creating a new life for himself as an acclaimed naval surgeon, leaving his thieving days behind him.

But when Dawkins is given a tremendous debt to pay off with the threat of losing his hand, and Fagin, the head of Dawkins' former crew of thieves, arrives at Australia in chains, the opportunity to return to his old life, even for a brief moment, is too good to pass up. He'll have to play the part of the Artful Dodger one last time if he wants to keep his hand, his job, and his identity.
