After the tragic death of her sister and herself, Mara Deyanera becomes a cursed spirit thanks to a vow she made to avenge her sister. Knowing the danger she poses as a vengeful curse, she makes her way to Japan to attract the attention of jujutsu sorcerers. What Mara never expected was that she would meet a strange white-haired dude that was willing to offer her a deal: she gets to exist a little longer and in return she helps with the latest influx of curses and with the greatest curse of all--Ryomen Sukuna. Starting with the events of season one in the anime, Mara helps Gojo's team deal with the threat of curses in an attempt to keep her promise to her sister and protect humans. What starts out as a simple deal becomes more complicated as new threats loom on the horizon and Mara learns that monsters come in many different forms and may have more to them than meets the eye. Sukuna is everything Mara hates, but the lines between hate and something else begin to blur as they get to know one another. When a risky deal is struck between them as Sukuna's fascination grows and Mara becomes desperate for her own vengeance, will their love or hate for each other win over in the end?
