10 years had passed since Naru and Lin left with Gene's body in tow. It took two years before Lin finally congratulated Mai on her high school graduation. From then on, Mai and the gang regularly communicated with Lin and Madoka- but never Naru. Mai graduated college and received a master's degree in psychological development in children. At the age of 26, she works with Father Tojo's orphanage at the church and writes adult books on the side.
But what happens when Naru suddenly contacts Mai and wants to visit with a visitor in tow?
