When young Elliot slips out of the castle to see the kingdom he will inherit, he does not expect his father to send a knight out to fetch him. Nor does he expect to fight a war with that knight.
Aiden is shocked when he discovers his new orders to guard a prince. Never before did he think a knight would be sent to do a guard's job. Nor did he expect to adore his new assignment.

I've spent over 2 years trying to complete this story yet I am still working on it. I figure I'll publish it here as I continue it due to how long it's been taking. Please tell me your opinions of it, I welcome all of it and hope you all enjoy it. Updates will be as consistent as possible but not on a set schedule.

About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
