Regaining Me

"Tally lived a hunted life, a word that followed her: Worthless. Twenty-four years she had spent on this earth, hoping for good luck, only to find pain. She waited for something, not even knowing what that something was, but deep down she knew something was missing. She made the permanent choice of leaving the earth. She was at peace.

Then, hope came walking in. Not what she expected: a tall perfection of a woman who was adamant on saving her, and an angel of a man who colluded with her. Both hell-bent on saving Tally, for reasons that she was unaware of. One thing she did know: it all had to do with time and how little of it they had.

Someone was coming-evil incarnate. Alluring and handsome, yet cruel and powerful. This evil was equally hell-bent on finding Tally but for very different reasons. This evil wanted its canary back in its cage, where it could own her. She had escaped before from his grasp, and he believed it was time she discovered where her true place lay-beside him for eternity.
