Aden is a human, which makes mother despise him and treats him horribly! 

I am in the pressure to be a vampling or mom's "Secret weapon". Mom has this idea that on my birthday, I will become a Vampling but with a few powers a mythics possesses. She said it will be extremely painful. I don't know what to do!!!! I want to impress and make mom happy but deep inside... I am scared and I don't think I can do this!!!

Will I choose what mom wants me to do? Even though the painful experience? Will I say no? What will mom do? Will I ever find Camie? Will Camie even care about us? She refused to tell me about him, so I didn't bother asking twice. You never ask Nema something twice or she'll be very angry. But she became more trustworthy to humans and made many friends. As for my clan, we were allowed to live with the humans and we were treated with lots of respect. But only my sisters came to live in the open world with me while the rest of them stayed behind. We made many friends, but most back stabbed me later on in time. And we lived well considering that my family was rich. But little did I know that my journey was just beginning.......
