A Valentine's Day short story about the connection of the Chinese/Japanese myth called the String of Fate. (2013)

Cassandra Walsh (Cassie/Cass) an average 17 year old girl who has a sad past. Jason.M.Powell (Jace) a childhood friend who saved her from misery.
The story sets place at a high school with an unique tradition where everyone makes a big deal of Valentines and Cassie isn't prepared for the greatest change of her life.
