Cooper Bailey finally has a shot at being a major league ballplayer, but it will take all his focus and energy during spring training to make it happen. Complicating things is his instantaneous connection with Ainsley Burke. He can't get enough of her, and before he knows it, they're spending every night together. But as happy as he is off the field, his focus on it is suffering, and he isn't willing to risk his lifelong dream over a girl. But without Ainsley, Cooper's miserable, and his game is still off. No matter what he tries, he can't get her, out of his head, and he's starting to realize that maybe he doesn't want to. Baseball is just a game, but Ainsley might be the real thing. Now he just has to convince her of that.

Anthony Rizzo is a outgoing and exuberant character who is always the life of the party. People adore his one of a kind personality and how he treats everyone with kindness no matter who they are and what they've done. So when a worldwide pandemic shuts down the entire country, Anthony decides to stay in his penthouse apartment in Chicago, ready to play baseball once it is safe again. But for someone who so dearly loves to be with people and making them smile the quarantine seems to get him down. Jazmyn Thomas has a different kind of situation. She is a army veteran who has been serving for thirteen years in many different places. She had decided that it was time and she was no longer fit to serve, so she stops off in Chicago to start her post fighting life. Not sure what to find she get caught up in a stay at home order with a travel ban keeping her in Chicago. With never being in the city before she is left trying to figure out her life as a civilian and in the middle of a pandemic. Together they find comfort in each other stuck inside the apartment building high above the city. Neither of them really know what to do or expect, but both of them trying to find the good in any situation. Through thick and thin they make the best of a bad situation and find more than either of them bargained for.
