The Hunger Games a tradition that has taken place for 65 consecutive years, with the 66th ready to begin. Just like the years prior, twenty-four children, one boy and one girl between 12-18 from each district, are chosen to participate in the yearly reminder of the rebellion that took place before any of them were even born. It's is in this new year that Pearl Gasby and her brother Sebastian are reaped as the tributes for their district. Leading up to their games, Pearl is reunited with a mentor in training, the victor of the hunger games from a year prior. It does not take long for Pearl to catch Finnick's eye and take root in a special place of his heart, after all she's a lot like he was when he was reaped for his games. Fourteen years old and trying as hard as possible to seem braver than what they were. With his help, Pearl must navigate her way through the games of the arena, as well as the games outside it, and after. Being the victors of district 4 can only bring them closer, and it seems like they aren't the only people who know that. [Unedited]

In the Hunger Games, survival isn't just about strength-it's about being remembered. Liora Stoneheart was never meant to be a tribute. District 2 had its champion, the ruthless and adored Phoenix Goldwyn, destined to bring glory to their home. But in one bold move, Liora stole her place, shattering expectations and sealing her own fate. Now, aboard the tribute train bound for the Capitol, she faces enemies in every shadow-her furious mentors, a district that despises her, and a deadly arena waiting to consume her whole. But Liora isn't here to win. She's here to ruin those who ruined her. Yet the Capitol is full of its own kind of danger. Among those at the capitol lurk killers, manipulators, and something far more unsettling-a boy with sea-green eyes and a knowing smirk. Finnick Odair is a name whispered across Panem, a victor who plays the Capitol's game too well. And whether he's friend, foe, or something else entirely, Liora isn't sure. All she knows is that, one way or another, the world will remember her name.
