"Can I make a promise?" The little girl known as Carla asked the little boy who's name is Clay.

"Sure, what is it?" Clay asked. "When we grow up, I want to protect you! Like you know? A bodyguard! A person who protects another? They would sacrifice their life for them! Like what you did to me, Clay. You protected me." 

The little boy smiled at the little girl. "Hmm? Are you sure you'll be able to protect me? You can't even hold a sword!" He snickered. "Yet." Carla added. "Big brother Techno will teach me! He's the coolest after all!" 

"Hmm whatever you say.." Clay hummed. "Anyways! Is it a promise, Dream?" Carla asked, using his nickname bringing up her pinky to him.

Clay looked at her then at her pinky then he smiled. "I promise, Nightmare." He connected his pinky with hers forming a promise between them.

Carla grinned and stood up. "Just you wait, Clay! When we meet again, I'll be the strongest! Stronger than big brother Techno! And ooh ooh! I'll be the most loyal-est protector in the worldddd!!"

Clay chuckled and stood up, patting her head. "Was that even a word?" He snickered. "W-well I-i-nevermind about that!" Carla stuttered.

"Yeah yeah, I'll be waiting for you," Clay paused then smirked, deciding to tease her. "My loyal protector."All Rights Reserved
