Fourteen-year-old Edison Green may be a genius, but he doesn't have a clue about what to do on his first day of high school. After being homeschooled until age 9 and then starting college courses, Edison doesn't have any experience with kids his own age. His parents believe he has a rare gift and they don't want him to be distracted by the menial problems of teenagers; instead, they want him to focus on his research project, which could be the next big breakthrough in physics. Edison loves physics more than anything, but loneliness and curiosity about life outside his world cause him to rebel. He goes on strike, refusing to continue his studies until his parents agree to let him go to high school for one year. Edison isn't worried about high school being hard--after all, he's been invited to join Mensa International--an exclusive club for the top 2% of the world's smartest people. But he finds out quickly that it takes more than a high IQ to traverse the social events and activities at Southton High School. During an unfortunate encounter with the school's most popular athlete, Edison meets Christina Blakely, who saves him from getting pummeled on his first day of school. She is the exact opposite of him in every way. Christina is a soccer phenom who doesn't have time to be friends with lowly freshmen. She's got problems of her own, including a low GPA, which could prevent her from getting a college scholarship. Can Christina achieve the impossible-the highest GPA she's ever had--and earn her scholarship? And can Edison prove to his parents and everyone else-including Ashley Murray, the most beautiful girl he's ever seen-that he can do more than solve difficult math problems? Can he really change the world with his research project, win Ashley's heart and survive high school?

But he wasn't just there. He was stark shirtless! My eyes slowly widened and I could feel my own heart beat frantically against my chest ribs. If anyone told me the nerd had perfect eight pack abs and flexed muscles, I'd disagree but here it was, mocking me right in the face. Sweats trickled their way down his belly lines and his torso was rising in a sync.*** --- Extended description: What happens when the tomboy starts to have girl like feelings she ought not to and always condemned? But what seems like a normal highschool story boy falls in love with girl and changes for her might not be it. Instead of the girl to change the boy, the boy is changing the girl. Long ago, humans with supernatural abilities began to appear in our world. These gifted humans possessed strange powers such as super strength, the ability to fly, or control over elements. However, these gifted humans were few in number. Soon, the normal humans grew jealous of their power. They shamelessly threw these "freaks" out of their homes. They were beaten, abused, and treated as slaves. Eventually, the gifted humans rebelled, and a great war began between them. This war would last for years and lead to countless lives lost. Realizing they could never coexist, the gifted humans decided to create a world where they could live freely. This world became known as Trabachi. Hundreds of years later, enter our main character. Luke Sky lives on Earth, where people had long forgotten about the great war and gifted humans. He receives a letter inviting him to Trabachi. There he discovers that what he once thought was impossible was actually possible. He finds out that not only does he have awesome super powers, but he is the chosen hero the entire kingdom has been waiting for. An egotistical supervillain, thrown back in time by her sidekick, must work with her past self--and her ex-girlfriend-turned-superhero, in order to find her way home. ☆ Rory Lennox, also known as the supervillain Ridge, always gets what she wants. At least until her loyal sidekick goes rogue, throwing her back to her university years using the time machine she invented. When her path crosses with her past self, she finds past-Rory is willing to believe time travel exists, but not that she would ever become a villain. To make matters worse, Accha Coderia, Rory's superhero-rival and ex-girlfriend, is trapped in the past too. As the two are forced to work together to fix the machine, unresolved tensions rise between them, daring to re-ignite a flame they have both been trying to ignore. In order to get home, Rory must ensure the past plays out exactly as it happened the first time, which means reliving the events leading to her descent into villainy.
