In a very far away old town, in a rustic and well concerned saloon, Jimmy, the bartender and cook of the old place, heard, during years working there, the most diverse and wonderful stories, he heard people claiming the most outrageous things and act like it was nothing, since some people claiming that they saw god's living and fighting among side mere humans to people claiming that they found their soulmate in a death match.

Most of the time, he wanted to laugh and say that what they claimed was all an obvious lie, but he couldn't. So, most of the time, he shoved it off, smiling and nodding or pretending that he wasn't listening to the stories with a warm heart. After all, most of the people that come to the saloon are strangers, strangers that he would never see again, with stories that he would never forget. So, what was left for him to do was his work, serving them drinks and food while listening to them with a comfortable smile.

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
