Death was always a foreign concept to Louis Tomlinson. It happened of course, just not to him.

Until it did.

Now, trapped in a dimension far from his own with nothing but a useless pair of wings, powers he can't control, and the narrowed gaze of a tragically broken moon wielder locked on him, he's expected to not only survive his training, but to save all of humanity in the process.

With the help of a fire wielder who can't seem to control his temper, an earth wielder on the brink of a "mid-afterlife" crisis, a moon wielder with a god complex, and a burnt out water wielder whose tired of everyone's shit, Louis embarks on the journey of a lifetime, facing the hardships of battle, embracing his newfound purpose, and forced to choose between sacrificing everything he's ever loved and everything he's ever wanted.

Welcome to the Academy of Feathers and Flight.

Or, a fantasy au in which the angels are not so angelic, secrets are stashed in every crevice, beautiful things cannot be trusted, mirrors are more than reflections, and immortality isn't the blessing everyone thinks it is.
