This takes place shortly after Veneer and Velvet are released from prison. Veneer is interviewed individually and nearly panics during the interviewed.
Off screen, Kid Ritz gets to know Veneer more and vise versa. There, Veneer realizes that he's screwed over if Velvet finds out about anything he felt.
