"Yes, I'm a pretty good cook and I really need a beta reader." She doesn't look at him as she continues to write on her laptop.
"I'll do it." He says with a small smirk.

Elara Ariti needs a beta reader for her stories and books. So she puts a flyer on her college's bulletins, saying that she needs someone to read her works and in return she would make them food. However, she did not expect her college's star hockey player, Amadeo Donatelli, to agree to it. Little do they know, they actually have a lot in common with each other. Come along as she tries to finish her work while he continues to distract her with his antics.
(Warning: My story is not mature for sexual or language reasons, it is mature for violence reasons as there will be a good amount of hockey related fights and injuries occurring. If the mention of blood/gore bothers you, I suggest leaving now.)

Crushing on the Captain
Eve Kingston is sick of being pushed around by hockey. Her entire life, the spotlight has been on her older brothers. She adores Nick and Logan, but she's been fighting hockey practices, tournaments, and games since she was a toddler.
