Everyone unknowingly helps Giyuu heal. Along the way, he grows closer to his comrades. From workers to friends. They slowly nurture a friendship so strong a slice of a katana wouldn't damage the thick bond of them all. Cluelessly. They drive Tomioka from his shadow to his shine. Bringing out his smile and finding himself along the way. It isn't a smooth sailing journey, but a journey without a stumble isn't an adventure. No story comes from a sea with no waves. (Implied Sanegiyu) Also, for those who are a bit out of line, there may be a few intimate scenes where two characters may be acting lovey dovey. They are not in love. It's just platonic love. Please don't make it weird or inappropriate. They're only really close friends, and the way I word things may depict something else rather than just friendship. Once again, everything is platonic unless said otherwise in the bracketed words above. (By the way, English is not my first language. So I do apologise in advance if sentences or the way I structure my words don't sound right. I hope that does not ruin your reading experience, and you can understand what im trying to imply. Tomioka Giyuu had always felt empty. Well. Not always.. he used to be so happy and full of emotions. But of course. That changed. Ever since he lost his sister and his best friend, he felt nothing but emptiness. Not happiness, not joy. He could still feeling the lingering feeling of sadness and anxiety reeking off of him. He swore to himself he would never get close to anyone ever again. He didnt want to go through all of that again. He wouldn't of been able to handle it. This all changed when he met a certain someone. He felt a sense of Happiness around this person. He didnt feel so empty. Ignoring his promise completely he try to get closer to this someone, despite his terrible social anxiety and poor ability to speak to others confidently. Despite the other not showing interest, doesn't mean the aren't interested. The other person was starting to feel the same happiness rise in them. They werent known to show emotion. So they always acted like they hated everyone. What will happen when both of them admit their feelings to one another? Well, find out for yourself.

This takes place right after Masachika's death. Sanemi had just been given the title of Wind Hashira but he was sick and grieving. He walked out of the butterfly estate where he was being treated for his sickness and wounds. It was raining, he wanted to end it all off of a cliff. He was so tired of losing the people he cared about. He didn't want the pain anymore. But he ran into someone. This person was so beautiful. This person tried his best to stop Sanemi but Sanemi was so out of his mind and striked by this beauty in front of him, he asked the man for something special to help relieve his pain and suffering, something only the two of them will know about something that will grow into more. It will flourish into a relationship with Giyuu Tomioka and Sanemi Shinazugawa
