"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. Not all men are created equal, and I learned that lesson at the young age of four. The day after I returned from that quirk doctor, my life spiralled into chaos. For the next ten years, I endured daily beatings, abuse, and neglect from everyone around me, except for my mother. But as fate would have it, she was taken from me as well. I lost all hope of becoming a hero; my dreams and spirit were shattered. Ultimately, I decided to heed the taunts of my tormentors and take the leap they urged me to take. But just before I hit the ground, someone intervened and saved my life. He taught me extraordinary techniques, and after my training was complete, he bestowed upon me his power. Years later, I returned with a single goal: to do what is right, to let no one stand in my way, and to change society as we know it. My name is Izuku Midoriya--the next ultimate life form.
