Always beware of the Hybrids. Even though they are kept confined, every so often, some break out. They are killing machines. Never trust a Hybrid. Never confront a Hybrid.

Pfffff.. Yeah right! Do you seriously believe that? I mean, take if from an actual Hybrid for crying out loud. We are only killing machines because the guards force us to! Our lives are hard. We get no freedom. We are forced to fight and kill our own brothers and sisters, our own kind. We are a race created by the government, for an entertainment show, where sick people bet on who will die. But when the world needs help, people need help. and NO ONE does anything to help! Guess who steps up and helps.
Me. VL287, at your service, a female Hybrid, who also goes by the name Violet. My team includes multiple Hybrids, a Bacca, a few humans and quite a few VERY powerful people.

Welcome to the life of one Hybrid, who saved, and changed the world.
Welcome to the team.

Read on if you dare.

Centuries ago, the world was as it is for you. Humans hunting, animals living, and evolution expanding. But, humans got greedy. They wanted too much, they used whatever they could find to get what they dreamed of- good or bad. They went to science, to alchemy, to the dead practices of their ancestors. And they paid the heavy price for trying to get more than they needed. Now, animals run free, humans live in hiding, cities and towns overgrown and used by any- just not humans. The world has been taken over by a different race, humans and their new "rulers" living separate, one fearing the other, 'the other' fearing 'one'. The rulers, the species that was created by humans, they were ones that never should have been possible. The Hybrids. ‼️IMPORTANT‼️vv There will ALWAYS be warnings at the beginning of a chapter, please inform me if I miss any important ones! And if at any time in this story you look at the warnings and don't want to read, feel free to ask for a summary of the chapter in the comments! Or leave, you have that liberty. Any of my Hermitcraft books don't take place in any specific season, unless stated otherwise, because many seasons will be mentioned and I love all of the seasons :3 This is a Hermitcraft AU! I do not own the characters, and none of this is cannon to Hermitcraft. ⚠️‼️There will be no written out romantic shipping in this book, only platonic relationships. ‼️⚠️ (But feel free to interpret my platonic love stuff as something more, I try to write it so you can do that :]) Started writing: May 14, 2024 Finished writing: First published: May 21, 2024 Stopped publishing: Accomplishments: #1 in allay May 27, 2024 #3 in discrimination May 27, 2024 #5 in skizzleman #2 in discrimination June 10, 2024 #2 in empiressmp June 19, 2024 #2 in goodtimeswithscar September 13, 2024

***Book One of the Orson Goldbloom tetralogy*** "Are you sure that will work?" I deadpan. She responds with a grim nod. "But...is casting down two lives worth it?" I ask again. This time, she ignores me. "F😠😠😠," I mutter, annoyedly. Then I raise my voice. "Is casting two lives down worth it or not?" "Orson, can't you be any more annoying?" She sighs. "Guess I can't, so give me some answers!" She rolls her eyes and brandishes a knife at me. "You act like that Kore girl. You know, the elf." I taunt her. Kore is disabled. "You act like you like her," she replies. I don't even like Kore! Kore must have been at least 40! "I don't!" "Lovebirds, lovebirds, flocking in a herd..." she mocks. "Is that even a nursery rhyme?" I deadpan. She shakes her head, sending her dark curls flying, and continues to chant, "lovebirds, lovebirds, your deception's so absurd..." F😠😠😠 her.
