Orca is a 16 yr. old girl, who lives in a town that is controlled by a werewolf pack. The humans are left alone until they reach the age of 12-16, when a blood sample is taken to determine if they carry the werewolf trait. If so, they are brought into the pack where they are taught the werewolf history, how to use their wolf, find their place in a pack, and find their mates. Basically, your human life is gone. Orca was a late bloomer, and figured she was in the clear. But when her Bull Mastiff becomes ill, the humans have no cure, but the werewolves might. She will only find out if she joins the pack. Orca then brings Chance (Mastiff) and his faithful companion Max (Bouvier de Flandres) into the world of werewolves, where hopefully they will learn to thrive, and Orca will find her inner wolf. (Subject to change). All the packs send their juveniles to this school for 8 yrs. The hope is that they will find their mates and position in a pack.

17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body.
