Washington State 1880: Liam McCallum (28) is exhausted. After his wife's death, he's single-handedly raising his two children and running their farm. Liam doesn't want a new wife but he finally admits that he needs one. A solicitor from England brings photos of mail-order brides who are hoping to come to the United States. McCallum haphazardly chooses one but she never arrives. God has bigger plans for Liam than he has for himself.

Grace Elliott (19) has had a rough couple of years. Although she was raised in a genteel home, she's been on her own since the age of fifteen. On the run from her evil uncle, Grace works as a servant at a small country inn outside London. When it's no longer safe, she prayerfully decides to be a mail-order bride and moves to the United States. But to her horror, after grueling travels with terrible motion sickness, her fiancé takes one look at her and rejects her.

𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 1 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 ♡𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞♡ 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞, the 𝑪𝑬𝑶 of 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆, on her path to achieving her goal of becoming the next diamond queen, suddenly faced an unexpected turn of events that sent her straight back to what she always dreaded: marriage. She wasn't gamophobic or philophobic, but the thought of sharing her space, time, and life with someone intimately made her nauseous. But life never goes the way we desire-especially not when we're stubborn enough to resist what it demands. She had dodged relationships in the past like a soldier dodges bullets, but now it seemed inevitable. She had dreamt many things-good, bad, lucky, unlucky-but never imagined being married at the age of 32, that too to someone younger than her. Enter 𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐡. Looks like a cinnamon roll, is exactly a cinnamon roll. He could've been the golden child of his parents if he hadn't chosen to be a 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒓. Coming from a family of diamond merchants, it was rebellious of him to take such a step-but sometimes young blood, in rebellion, makes the best decisions. He had planned his life perfectly: gain experience, earn money, buy land in North East India, and settle there in the peace of hills and greenery. But oh, my little boy-he is now tied to a marriage he never asked for. And the worst part? He has no idea why someone so beautiful, carrying the aura of buying tens of him, decided to marry 𝒉𝒊𝒎. Not his elder brother. Not any cousin. But him. It wasn't just a shock-it was disbelief. He saw her eyes, and those brown orbs captivated him enough to keep him from noticing the glint of victory behind them. He had never even held a woman's hand in his entire life, yet now being hers made him feel he was in love. But... is she too? What will happen the day he discovers the reason behind the marriage

"Dance with me." While I knew it wasn't a demand, it wasn't a question either. I hesitated and he noticed. "Come on Grace, give this gentleman the honor of a dance." "I don't see a gentleman anywhere." He chuckled, stepping closer and tucking his thumbs into his tight jean pockets. He looked like every woman's dream--dark jeans that hugged him sinfully, golden-tanned skin contrasted by his white-fitted shirt, a black, wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and a smile that could send any woman on her knees. Not to mention a voice that coated your skin like silk sheets. I hated how much I noticed. "You're right, but I would like the honor anyway... ma'am." ********************* Meet Grace--living the city life, reserved, eager to please, loyal to a fault. Feeling empty for reasons she's not yet sure of, she's adamant on chasing anything that makes her feel free. Meet Colt--living the country life, private, stubborn, outspoken. Feeling empty for reasons he's well aware of, he hides in his daily routine. Grace can't seem to figure out why she holds nothing back when it comes to Colt. He's absolutely infuriating. Colt can't seem to understand the affect Grace has on him, and why he cares what she does. She's entirely maddening. When the two get lost in the wilderness, it's up to Colt to get them back. Can they put their differences aside long enough to survive? Is it Colt who will save Grace, or is it she who will be his saving grace? "Run!" Julia exclaimed before grabbing a hold of her bag and bolting away as soon as we heard the sound of sirens approaching us. I ran behind them before my foot got caught in a branch and I tripped, leading them to catch me. Not my best friend and my boyfriend, no. Those two ditched me. Letting the police only catch me. ***** Seventeen-year-old Sophie Reynolds thought she had her life all figured out, until a reckless decision gets her exiled to her grandfather's ranch for the summer. Trading in her designer wardrobe for muddy boots was never part of her plan, especially at a place like Equestrian Creek, where the horses outnumber the people and the only excitement comes from chores. Enter Liam Parker, the easygoing stable boy with a wicked sense of humor, a captivating British accent, and a look that could stop hearts. He's everything Sophie can't stand: carefree, unpretentious, and entirely unimpressed by her attitude. And the feeling? Mutual. Forced to work side by side, their constant bickering sparks something unexpected, a slow-burning connection that's impossible to ignore. With every stolen glance and late-night conversation, Sophie realises that maybe, just maybe, her perfect world wasn't so perfect after all. One summer. One chance to rewrite her story. And one boy who just might change everything.
