All is Bright

Clara Stahlbaum, now twenty-two, reminisces of Christmas Eve ten years prior, when she was just a girl of twelve, in the winter of 1816. Her godfather, Drosselmeyer, has been distant since, and her parents refuse to believe her tales of the snow forest and the land of the sweets, and of course, of the Nutcracker himself. They insist they were simply very vivid dreams, but were they? Clara knows what she lived through, and just might live through it again, but with a much darker twist.
