     Everyday life in New York City continued as it always had. Everybody and every mutant continued on with their daily tasks and activities. April O'Neil and Carrie Colonley were no different. These two close friends continued on with their lives. However, when Carrie catches April sneaking out of her apartment at their sleepover, curiosity takes over her. Carrie follows her friend, a terrible decision, and finds her life spiraling into the terrifying unknown.

      Now, with the help of her new allies, Carrie must uncover the mysteries of her past and her father's occupation. The turtles must protect their new friend in a race against the infamous Master Shredder to discover the secrets of Carrie's father and the power he created.

None of them could have prepared themselves to be kidnapped and forced to join the Foot Clan. Now, facing a new army of human Foot Soldiers, the turtles must figure out a way to cut Shredder's forces down and determine what his new plans for them entail. Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby.
