The Displaced are those trapped in this chaotic labyrinth, adapting to its dangers or falling to The Corrupted, monstrous entities born of the realm itself. Scattered Anomalies offer fleeting hope or devastating consequences, while cryptic rules dictate life and death: Never linger too long. Light wards off the darkness-most of the time. Beware of doors; they don't always lead to safety. In the Smoorkacb, escape is uncertain, and the greatest danger might be losing yourself.

Edit: According to recent lore (12/2022), Ivan Beck was not present during the meeting with the Department of Energy.
