Caroline Harper has never had a sweet tooth. Studying and avoiding her party-going parents has turned her into the model student without any time on the side. That is, until her parents insist she gets a job. But when a freak chance in a thunderstorm introduces a brand new spectrum of people, she takes a leap of faith and goes with it. Thrown into a brand-new family of coworkers, she begins to learn things she never knew: from the fact that the bad boy quotes Lion King to the process of making saltwater taffy. Life is sweet until a massive curve ball hits the shop. Then it's Caroline's turn to save Candie's Emporium for the Sweet & Sour.
