Since her father's death, Astra Witwicky has become an independent and adventurous, but lonely teenage girl. She had to live with her mother, Carly Witwicky, in the mountains of North Carolina till she gained the courage to speak up. But one day, Mrs. Witwicky brought her daughter to Jasper, Nevada, where she hopes to fix her past mistakes and make things right for Astra. 
But even the ordinary has a way to become the extraordinary. What happens when an ordinary event leads her to discover an entire, but familiar alien race when she thought she was the only one? It is alien to her, just as alien as the autobots themselves. However...that is just what interests her. Especially Optimus Prime.
