Double Life. Oh, Double Life. How Scott could rant about the good and bad things about it for hours at end. For sure, Double Life left a dent in Scott and Pearl's friendship, but they were still the best of friends in the end (after much apologies). But Double Life ruined his relationship. Scott was most obviously angry at Tango, and Jimmy (a lot). But Scott can't show that. The Watched World
It's been years since the sorcerer Grian created his world, and he has finally returned from his travels. Since then more has changed than he could have ever predicted. His world has split into two factions, the Southlands and the Empire. His towers, once united, have separated. His formulated prosperity has crumbled. There are people now, new people, with their own complications, twisting and distorting his perfect little world. Grian decides to set things right. Forge new bonds, break old barriers. But they don't turn out right, do they? Suddenly someone is dying, and our flawed little sorcerer magics up a new set of lives for all of us at the cost of his own immortality. ____________ The story I will tell is not a joyful one.
