Afaaf, niece of an Arab merchant, has been unjustly imprisoned by the Khalifa of the time and therefore, hates the Khalifa and anyone in alliance with him. She plans to escape and find justice for her uncle who she believes has been kidnapped and murdered because of the Khalifa. 

Imran, an Arab mujahid coming from a lineage of mujahideen, serves as a knight in one of the cavalries of the State. He despises his recent and temporary employment as a guard at the State's female prison. He has been counting the days to the end of this temporary employment when a particular prisoner escapes before his very eyes.
