As Carissa Emily tries to survive the nightmarish shifts at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, she also tries to piece together the fragments of her memory, hoping to find out what really happened to her sister, Charlie Emily, ten years ago, and why her father, Henry Emily, has been so secretive and protective of her. She soon realizes that the animatronic characters at Freddy's become alive and hostile at night. They roamed the halls, looking for anyone who dares to stay after hours.
Will Carissa be able to uncover the truth about her sister and her father, and escape from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza alive? Or will she become the next victim of the animatronics and their twisted creator. Find out in this chilling and thrilling novella based on the popular video game and movie franchise, Five Nights at Freddy's.

Roughly two years after the tragedy of Fredbear's Family Diner in 1983, New Harmony, Utah is left silent, Charlotte Emily's name haunting the town. The souls of Harmony, gasping for a break, are shocked when Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria has its grand opening, courtesy of Henry Emily and William Afton, cofounders of the original Fredbear's. With new and old mascot faces alike, the restaurant is ready to start business under the judgement of the young. Mark Chandar and Mike Schmidt are hot on the trail of Charlotte Emily's murder. Mike Schmidt is convinced, even two years later, that Afton must be responsible for the murder. Chandar, however, isn't convinced; he knows William Afton better than that. Even still, the solution can't be that simple- can it? (This novella series is based on the games by Scott Cawthon, and the "Silver Eyes" series co-written by Scott Cawthon and Kira-Breed Wrisley, and the "Fazbear Frights" series co-written by Scott Cawthon and Elley Cooper.
