this was supposed to be a oneshot but I FUCKED IT UP!!! AND WROTE TOO MUCH AND NOW I DONT WANNA WRITE RAAAHHH
(THIS IS ABOUT SMG34) RAAHAHHHAH I hope no one reads this. SO- basically this started out just a thing in my oneshot collection but it started turning into not-a-oneshot anymore so I just started the "real" fic comp for fun.
Anyway, in this AU, SMG4 is Agent 4 and SMG3 is a random Octoling in Octo Canyon. All the other characters will be explained throughout the story. Also yes even though this mostly takes place in Inkopolis Square, it will still have Splatsville sometimes.

It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried.
