Nalah is what most people call a trying young girl. She tries her best to work hard in her Niche, hoping that one day she'll accomplish all she needs to live comfortably.

She finds herself in a bind when she's left stranded one night. Scared and alone she tries to reach out to everyone she possibly can, fortunately in the midst of her distress comes what some may call a 'knight in shining armor', or in this case a Handsome Rasta man in a Porsche.

She immediately recognizes this knight as Skip Marley, the Grandson of reggae legend Bob 'Skippa' Marley.

As the story progresses, circumstances bound them together but Nalah is adamant that she won't let herself fall for his charms.

While Skip himself is unsure if what he feels for her are real feelings-or just...infatuation.

As time progresses they realize that being together feels natural. The connection between them is undeniable, but defining their feelings? That's the real challenge.

They avoid labels to protect themselves, but are there deeper issues keeping them apart?

You'll just have to read to find out.

Though her parents were absent and neglectful, her twin brother wasn't. With more money than any teenager needed, freedom to do whatever she wanted, and a brother who supported her fully, it was easy to forget that there were people all around the world who didn't have it as easily as she did. Talon Raised with more responsibility than most kids, Talon Draven was an old soul. Even though he was only eighteen-years-old, he took the responsibility of taking care of his sister and mother very seriously. With an absent father and a mother who worked two jobs, Talon did what he had to in order to take care of his younger sister and help out his mother. When you least expect it... After Kenzlee's father loses everything that they own, she's shipped off to her uncle's house until her parents can get their act together. Suddenly, she's faced with a new life, new school, new friends, and an uncertain future. However, none of that anxiety compares to when she first meets Talon Draven. After Talon's spent years sticking to his life's plan, he's hit with a temptation that he never imagined could exist. On his way to class, he's run over by a goddamn princess, and his entire life's focus shifts. Staring into the face of the most beautiful girl that he's ever seen, Talon just has to have her. While Kenzlee's preparing for an uncertain future, Talon's preparing for a future with her in it. However, the one thing they can both agree on? Staying away from one another is a lot harder than it should be. Spoiler Alert: There's no lake in the town of Lakeside. "Sometimes you run into the right person at the wrong time, and things don't always turn out how there expected to be. There may be love but love doesn't over power the act of negativity" 22-year-old Carina Thompson lives a carefree L.A. lifestyle, yet beneath the surface, she struggles with the same confusion many young people face-wounds from childhood, uncertainty about her future, and untapped potential. Young, broken, and talented, she drifts through life, letting it take her wherever it may. Growing up with a high-class father meant living a high-class lifestyle, but everything changes when she crosses paths with Quincy Alsina, a 22-year-old Louisiana native from the streets. He's the opposite of her in many ways-yet eerily similar to the men in her family. Their friendship quickly turns into something deeper, but their relationship is plagued with issues. The real problem? Neither of them understands that communication and listening are the keys to a healthy relationship. And if it's not healthy... isn't it just a waste of time? Can a honeymoon stage ever last forever? Will you ask me to marry you? Was this all a game or are we really in love?
