Adira had been on her own for nearly five years. Although she was supposed to die in the wild, instead she befriended some of the most dangerous dragons to walk her world. When she comes up with the seemingly crazy idea of a dragon pack, her life does an 180° when she has a chance encounter with the island of Berk.
On Berk, Adira gets along fine with the other riders. But when they make dark discoveries and Adira's enemies join forces and go against the citizens of Berk, the island has little time to prepare for battle. In a blur of events, Adira and her companions must fight for the sake of dragons and Berkians alike in the Battle of Fire and Ice.
