I Commenced My Descent
This is a significantly altered version of H. P. Lovecraft's horror story "The Alchemist." The original was written in 1908, and so is, as of 2020, well within the public domain. The text was taken in 2020 from this URL: https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Alchemist_(Lovecraft) and modified by Wil Wroge (another pseudonym of Thomas Iota) as a response to a writing challenge issued by claytemplemedia.com I always enjoyed "The Alchemist" but did not consider it critically until Clay Temple Media made it the focus of one of their episodes of The Elder Sign podcast. Among other valid criticisms, the hosts suggested that Antoine, the protagonist, lacked agency, the supporting character Pierre was unsympathetic and illogical, and the antagonist was too easily overcome. So, I accepted this as a writing challenge. I've replaced Pierre with Agace (whom I hope is more sympathetic), given Antoine a much broader character arc, and made the antagonist, setting, and overall tone noticeably darker. I kept as much of the original text as possible, but I altered many sequences and added content freely in hopes of expanding the original enough to give the characters more interaction. I did my best to mimic the density of Lovecraft's diction and style in plot and setting revelations, but attempted also to add some of my own action and suspense into the climax. A warning to parents: there is significantly more violence in this story than in Lovecraft's original. Enemies (Farkas X Reader) a Skyrim Fanfic

Y/n L/n was the daughter of two nords. Her parents had been killed by theives when she was 9. She had been found and taken in by a werewolf. Soon the Silver Hand killed him and took her to their camp. Y/n made friends with a girl before she was moved to a new camp. A boy took intrest in her and they soon fell I love. The two were inseparable. Soon a dark elf joins the party and the three become best friends. The boy is soon taken in to train for leadership over the camps. Y/n was trained and wanted to hate wolves, yet she had a strange love for the mysterious creatures. Then she happens to get caught up in a raid with the Companions. She had helped Urgrad, her best friend and love, kill the leader, Kodlak. Soon the Companions want revenge and attack her camp. She gets drawn away and is found by a man. A man she's met a few times before. Farkas. She joins the group and they train her. Her destiny falls into place as her life is quickly changed as she falls for the werewolf named Farkas. I update frequently! The chapters start of slow but I promise they get better! Weigh Out Way-In
There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. A kingdom far away
This is the second book of an Aphmau and Garroth fanfic. If you read the first one you will mostly get the full story so yeah. What is going on in this story is that all of a sudden there is a giant bright light that shoots from the ground all around Phoenix Drop. When Garroth wakes up he sees that he is in a familiar place but, how did he get there and he meets a familiar person walking around in the kingdom. Will she remember Garroth? Dead Ahead: Soldier
This is actually my first time making a story. Every criticism helps. The story later on will start to make less sense as it goes on, but hey! My story, my lore. By the way, there are some...lewdness and "romance" as the story goes on as well, I regret my life. Anyways, hope you enjoy and...yeah! This is actually originally set for me and my cousin, I made him obsessed with stories and he made me obsessed in writing. Karma comes fast. By the way, some parts are references or inspired by games, movies, or other books I've read. I'm not stealing other people's stuff, that's stealing and I do not condone such acts. Anyways, enjoy! (Update: I just received an amazing cover for...this book of mine. I do not deserve such artistic/editing talent such as this. Needless to say, the person who did this has my upmost gratitude. Unfortunately, all thanks I can do is a tribute character and a thanks in the description. Her name is "Camille" from what I've heard. Such an underrated editor/artist. I do not know her social media account, so this is a waste of time, but...still, thank you) (To those who has an attention span of an eagle, I have to discontinue both of my dead ahead books for: Reason 1: The plot is starting to sound a bit stupid, then again, I was a rookie on story making at the time.
