The fear

The year was 3000 when the war leader Imbarb turned against the anarchy and attempted to take over the city of Tupil. With his demon army of Bozuil, Imbarb managed to capture 13 of the 36 counties in the place earlier known as America. The governments backed down in these areas after 20 years as fighting against Imbarb and the Bozuil was futile. But in attempt to keep some hope alive, 10 counties in the North were not informed of the war that was going on in the major part of the South. The people of the South had loved ones stolen from them, were themselves murdered by the Bozuil and others were left on their own in the streets, trying to make it to the North. 30 years later, not even one person made it to the North. Until now. This is their story.

Layla Curtis is 16 years old living in the South during Imbarbs reign. Accompanied by her friends Rowan and Rob, she tries to escape to the North where no human has escaped to before.
