Everything is good in Cris's life. She has the perfect friends, what she hopes to be the perfect boyfriend, perfect family, perfect grades, everything seemed perfect to her.
But one day reality comes to bite her in the butt. Everything changes. She changes. She is scared and alone and doesn't know what's going to happen next. But she does know that she won't let anyone see past her fake smile, she won't let anyone in.

"I walk down the school hallway, "don't make eye contact" I keep repeating in my head. The sweet smell of cologne and perfume fills the halls. I keep walking trying not to get noticed.
