You were his guardian angel that he didn't even know existed, and you planned on keeping it that way. Well, at least you tried. After a while of watching the boy talk to himself and pout while kicking rocks, muttering how alone he was, you eventually found the heart to reveal yourself. Now, you were lying underneath the stars with the boy right next to you, his mouth spewing words at a speed you couldn't comprehend. But that didn't matter, all you really cared about was the hand that was in your own, squeezing it every now and then to know that you were still awake. That you were still by his side.
