A harmless game, isn't it?
Five highschool juniors attend an anti-prom party, only, they are the only juniors not at the actual prom, forced to find entertainment they stumble upon an old Ouija board. Hesitant, they decide to play, unknowing of the trouble the simple "game" would cause. The five become bored after they stop playing so they decide to sneak into prom anyway but, as they arrive at the school and get closer to the gymnasium they are horrified by blood curdling cries for help and just then, the building blows up.
This was no attack.
This was no accident.
This is not to be mistaken.
The Ouija board is no game.

As soon as night arrives, Kaede and Rantaro suggest a spooky activity: contacting a ghost. Please be aware that this is not a cute and wholesome Halloween story, it's violent and gory and quite the opposite of happy. He had of course found it impressive how what was most likely a lie was so widely believed with little proof that it wasn't just some made-up concept used for our own entertainment and to explan day-to-day inconveniences. But he had never actually been convinced that something as far-fetched as anguished and disturbed souls wandering the face of the earth looking for vengeance or to finish something they never got to in life. Kokichi never believed in ghosts...
