Ally is 17 years old, and lives in her own personal hell. Her parents got divorced a year ago because her dad got caught cheating, resulting in her developing a eating problem. As if matters couldn't get any worse, Matthew and his group of friends show no mercy on her when they continuously beat her. 

 Matthew hates his life. More like hates what hes become. He never really hit her, but letting his friends hit Ally was just as bad. he suffers everyday with out his dad, who left the same time Ally's dad did. He just wants to feel loved, wants all the girls on him, wanting him. 

One day, there science teacher pairs them up as partners. Was this the step they needed to be able to become friends? Will Ally be able to forgive Matthew? Can she help him get over his anger and fear of becoming his dad?
