Princess Nandini of Jaislemeher was the only daughter of King Dushyanth and he pampered her as such. She was spoiled with every luxury one could imagine; her feet had never even touched the bare ground and so it was only natural, that she developed arrogance and held her nose high in the air.

Because the truth was, she never thought there could be a time when she wouldn't get anything and everything she demanded at a single command...at least until the kingdom lost the war and the enemy prince claimed her as his slave.

Prince Abhimanyu Pratap Singh of Suryagarh was known for his bravery and kind heart but he had never met a girl more arrogant than Nandini and after she insulted his mother, he decided he was going to crush her ego into pieces until she submitted to him.

They hated each other more than they could put into words so there was no possibility of anything else...or was there?

Everything changed the day the King ordered me to seduce his son and bring him back to the Kingdom. He was my best friend. As per the order of things, a Yuvraj cannot befriend a Commoner girl. But we were. He was anything but nice and helpful to me, and in return, I betrayed him. The betrayal ran deep, costing him the trust of the last of his friends. I saw him becoming cruel. The man who struggled to kill a deer in the Gurukul sliced throats and smiled right in front of me. His anger was scary, and the scariest part was the redemption of what I did to him. "You shall marry me," his words were clear, emotionless. "I am getting married. My fiancé is waiting outside for me, Abhinan," I tried to say, but he clenched his jaw. "My father asked you to do something for me, and in return, I shall do something for him, too. He is on his deathbed, and his last wish is to see his grandchild. Since you are closer to him, you must do this," he almost ordered, and I took a step back, shaking my head. "Are you out of your mind? I am an adopted daughter of your Guruji. Nobody knows my family, my bloodline, my caste or my community. The throne will never accept me; your father will be tormented," I said, and he stepped closer. "Well, that's why you are perfect for it. I shall make sure that even after seeing his grandchild, he will never rest in peace," he exclaimed and took me from there. *** The story is set in the 17th Century. When only the Princesses were meant to sit beside the King on the Throne, Trisha transformed herself to become Trishalini, the most loved Queen in history. There was no bed of roses in the early days, but she ensured the people in her kingdom slept on them. Amidst the guilt, anger and redemptions bloomed a forbidden, dark love story of King Abhinandan and Trishalini, aka Trisha. You were only a small child when you were brought to the kingdom of Hastinapur as an orphan. Lord Bhisma, kindest of men, took pity on your plight and adopted you, raising you within the palace walls alongside the five Pandava brothers. Though you were not of royal blood, the princes were kind to you and you became their close friend and companion through the years of shared childhood. Your gentle, calm demeanor served as a soothing balm to their more fiery spirits, especially the impulsive Bhima and Arjuna. As you grew into a young woman under Bhisma's care, your friendship with the Pandavas deepened into something more complex. Secretly, each of the brothers felt a growing affection for you, though none dared speak of it for fear of causing strife between them. You remained oblivious to their hidden feelings, content in your role as a sister and confidant. One fateful day, everything changed when arrangements were made for your marriage - not to one man, but all five Pandava brothers as was customary. You were shocked at this revelation, never imagining your childhood friends could be your future husbands. How would you adjust to this new dynamic, sharing a life and their hearts? And would the brothers' camaraderie survive, or be torn asunder by desires of the heart? Your new life was set to begin, filled with both the sweetness of love and the bitterness of betrayal as the great war slowly approached on the horizon.
