There were legends about a great spirit they heard in every wind, saw in every cloud and feared in every sound as well as there were rumors of imaginary creatures roaming around, and spirit warriors who abandoned their human bodies to defend their lands with claws and pointed teeth, growling loud and clear.

Yet, as the darkness fell and tall grass danced in open fields filled with silence, the old ones whispered quietly into the pin-cushion of sky,

"O' Lady Moon, your horns point toward the east:
Shine, be increased;

Wane, be at rest."
