Samantha was living a normal, happy life on Earth until the day she fell into a river and drowned. She was sure that should have been the end but instead she finds herself confronted by the manifestation of Gaia, from Final Fantasy VII, who tells her that she has been chosen to aid the planet's champion in stopping the events of the numerous games.
Now reborn into the world of FFVII, Samara must do her best to remember the timeline and prevent the numerous disasters to come. At least she is not alone, although Cloud is much more grumpy at the situation than she is.

Tensura: Melting the Eternal Frost
This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

As a huge fan of Tensura fanfics, especially the incredible works of Bon Aurevoir, It was My first Tensura Fanfic I've read and I was inspired to create something similar. After discussing ideas with Bon and getting his approval, I finally decided to take the plunge and write my own story. As the title suggests, the main character is a kind yet cunning individual. He strives to help others and guide them toward redemption. Despite his cunning nature, his naivety as a former human still lingers. Over time, he will grow from a child blessed with power into a man who shoulders great responsibility. The story will initially follow the canon timeline, but I plan to introduce some unique elements along the way to keep things engaging. Lastly, while I've included the R18 tag, I'm still honing my skills in writing romance and lemons. Expect a slow-burn romance, but I promise those moments will come eventually.
